Our Foals

Trailwise foals and mule foals are raised as trailhorses need to be—in the bush, hills, swamp, water and trees. Between the cows, the deer, the elk, and the bear around us these foals have been exposed to a lot. Generally, the foals are halter broke, tie stall trained, load in a trailer and walk over tarps before they are yearlings. This is all part of their basic trail education.
